EvanHub ("we", "our", "us") is a multi-tenant school management application that allows schools to register, manage students, manage teachers, store school documents, and access paid subscription features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

By using EvanHub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

EvanHub is used by school administrators, teachers, and (where applicable) parents/guardians. Depending on how the app is used, we may collect:

• School account information: school name, address, contact phone number, contact email, and subscription/plan details.
• Administrator/staff account information: name, email address, role, and login credentials.
• Student records: name, class/grade, enrollment details, and other academic information entered by the school.
• Teacher records: name, contact details, and role/assignment information entered by the school.
• School documents: files and documents uploaded by school administrators (e.g. announcements, records, and related materials).
• Payment and subscription information: EvanHub offers paid subscription plans. Payments are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details — this information is handled directly and securely by Google. We only receive confirmation of subscription status (e.g. active, expired, plan type).
• Device and usage information: basic technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and crash/analytics data used to improve app performance and stability.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Create and manage school, teacher, and student accounts within the app.
• Enable core features such as student records, teacher records, class management, and document storage.
• Provide, maintain, and improve the paid subscription service.
• Communicate important updates, announcements, or support information to school administrators.
• Monitor app performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.

3. Data Ownership and Responsibility

Each school using EvanHub operates its own independent account (multi-tenant model). School administrators are responsible for the accuracy of student and teacher data they enter and for obtaining any necessary consent from students, parents/guardians, or staff before entering their information into EvanHub, in accordance with applicable local laws.

4. Children's Information

EvanHub is designed for use by school administrators and teachers, not directly by children. Student information is entered and managed by authorized school staff on behalf of the school, not collected directly from children through the app. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own EvanHub accounts.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following cases:

• With Google Play Billing, to process subscription payments.
• With cloud service providers (such as Firebase/Google Cloud) that host and store app data securely on our behalf.
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of EvanHub, our users, or others.

6. Data Storage and Security

Data entered into EvanHub is stored securely using cloud infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain school, student, teacher, and document data for as long as the school's account remains active, or as needed to provide the service. Schools may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us using the details below.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of EvanHub after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
